I’m Savannah Roberts, a Ph.D. candidate in Clinical and Developmental Psychology. My research is theory-driven and youth-centered, focusing on body image, disordered eating, LGBTQ+ youth, and the role of social media.

At the heart of my work is one question: How can we harness digital technologies to promote positive body image and improve adolescents’ mental health?

I conduct my research at the University of Pittsburgh under the mentorship of Dr. Sophia Choukas-Bradley.
